National Library / Lee Kong Chian Reference Library

The Library that Reigns Supreme

The mother lode of all public libraries, this modern glass-panelled building is the ideal spot for muggers looking to hit the books. Whether it’s snagging yourself a plush armchair for some light reading at the library’s basement levels, or heading up to its Reference library (level 7-11) to camp out at their many study tables, you’ll definitely be able to study in peace here. During major exam periods the libraries will be packed to the brim, so you should arrive when the library opens to ensure that you can snag a seat!

Notes: LKC Reference Library occupies levels 7 to 13 of the National Library Building.
